Family Story Time - Every Monday from 7/12-8/16
Join Miss Amy and Miss Christine in the Children’s Room for some great stories and songs. Everyone is welcome.
Story Time begins at 10 AM. Drop-in. No registration required.
Book Buddies - Tuesdays from 7/6-8/17
Want to get some extra practice reading over the summer? Then team up with a teen volunteer through our Book
Buddies program. Interested Teens and Children should contact the Children’s Room.
Book Flix for Kids - Every Friday from 7/2-8/20
Each week at 1:30 PM, we will chill out in the Jones Room watching video adaptations of some well-loved
children’s books. Have a little popcorn and some cool water and relax for a bit. No registration required.
Here are the special events we have planned for this summer. Registration is required and begins two weeks before each event.
Hugh Hanley – Thursday 7/29 at 10:30 AM
Join Hugh Hanley’s Circle of Songs! Perfect for toddlers, preschoolers and early grade-schoolers.
Registration required.
Animal World Experience – Thursday 8/5 at 11:00 AM
A hands-on and close up experience that is guaranteed to be fun for all ages! Registration required.
4th Annual Battle of the Books – Jr. Edition – Wednesday 8/18 at 6:30 PM
Especially for kids going into grades 1-6. Participants will read from a list of picture books and popular fiction. Teams will
be formed and the battle will begin. Which team will be victorious? Come and see for yourself. Registration to participate
in this event begins on 6/28/2010. The booklist will be available at that time.

BEACH DAY
Saturday, July 17, Noon – 4:00 p.m. River St., N. Weymouth
Join us at the George Lane Beach to enjoy the sun and the fun with our neighbors.
Kayaks (sit-on–tops), Paddle Boats, Music, Food…
Rain date is Sunday, July 18th, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Open Tennis Tournament
Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 18th, 19th, 25th, & 26th at Weymouth High School
A great way to test your new found skills!

General Information
Tournament will be Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 18th, 19th, 25th, & 26th at Weymouth High School Tennis Courts. Minimum of 8 players per event
Times are approximate.
The weekend of October 2nd & 3rd will be utilized in case of inclement weather.
Registration for tournament will begin on March 29th.
Tournament Division
Adult For men & women singles; men & women doubles and mixed doubles, Age groups: 18+; Special 50+ singles men & women
For boys and girls age groups 9-11; 12-15; 16-18 Singles Tournament : Boys Division & Girls Division (age grouped)
Please enter your t-shirt size when registering!
If you are registering for Doubles, please enter your partner's t-shirt size as well
